Freshman Kyra Moat won the girls 2A title by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 20:42.3 at the Utah High School Activities Association state championship meet at the Regional Athletic Complex in Salt Lake City. Moat is the first female athlete from Millard to secure the 2A individual crown since Katy Kelly in 2018 and the first freshman to prevail in the classification since Kine Bjerga of Canyon View in 1999. Moat helped the Eagles place second by a 30-43 margin, as North Summit snapped Millard's three-year championship reign.
