Timpanogos juniors Madison Moffitt, Holley VanSchouwenburg and Taylor Viertel placed ninth, 15th and 16th in the girls 4A final at the Utah UHSAA Cross Country State Championships at Sugarhouse Park and Highland High. Moffitt covered the 3-mile course in 18:31.6, VanSchouwenburg clocked 18:55.8 and Viertel ran 18:57.3 for Timpanogos, which held off Mountain View 85-86 to repeat as champion, atoning for a 43-47 loss at the Region 7 final.
