Ben Ralphs, a junior at Millard High, won the Class 2A boys state crown by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 16:10.3 at the Utah High School Activities Association Cross Country Championships at the Regional Athletic Complex in Salt Lake City. Ralphs, who was second last year behind his older brother Michael in 16:13.2, helped Millard capture its fourth consecutive boys team title with a 74-83 victory against Water Canyon.
