Kyle Steadman and Isaac Sohler, junior teammates at Mountain View High, placed second and fourth in the Class 4A boys state final at the Utah High School Activities Association Cross Country Championships at the Regional Athletic Complex in Salt Lake City. Steadman covered the 5-kilometer layout in 15:22.5 and Sohler clocked 15:39.4 for Mountain View, which extended its state boys record with an 18th team title, prevailing on a sixth-runner tiebreaker against Orem High after the teams both scored 56 points.
