Eliza Mason, a junior at Lone Peak High, finished second in the girls 6A final at the Utah High School Activities Association at the Soldier Hollow course in Midway. Mason covered the 5-kilometer layout in 20:25.3 to lead five Lone Peak scorers in the top nine to secure a 29-74 victory over American Fork and back-to-back 6A team championships.
