Nate Jaster, a junior at American Fork High, won the boys 6A title at the Utah High School Activties Association state meet at the Soldier Hollow course in Midway. Jaster covered the 5-kilometer layout in 16:09.8 to become the first American Fork male athlete to win an individual championship since Luke Grundvig in 2018. Jaster contributed to a runner-up team finish for the Cavemen, who were edged by Skyridge by a 57-62 margin.
