Panguitch senior Taylia Norris secured her third straight 1A title in 19:17.4 on the 3-mile course at Sugarhouse Park and Highland High, at the Utah High School Activities Association state championships. Norris became the seventh female athlete in state history to win at least three consecutive individual championships, including the second from Panguitch, following four-time winner Whittni Orton (2012-15). Norris helped Panguitch place second to Milford by an 18-23 margin.
