Bryce Valley senior Brock Syrett won the boys 1A title, covering the 5-kilometer layout in 17:04.2 at the Utah High School Activties Association state championship meet at the Regional Athletic Complex in Salt Lake City. Syrett led four scorers in the top 20 to help Bryce Valley secure its first team title in program history with a 46-48 victory over Milford.
