Carlee Hansen, a senior at Woods Cross High and North Carolina commit, captured her third consecutive girls 5A title at the Utah High School Activities Association state meet at the Soldier Hollow course in Midway. Hansen covered the 5-kilometer course in 19:55 to become the only female athlete in 5A history to win three in a row and one of 11 girls competitors in state history to secure at least three straight individual championships.
