Panguitch seniors Jonah Schoppe and Trenton Stowe placed first and third in the boys 1A final at the Utah UHSAA Cross Country State Championships at Sugarhouse Park and Highland High. Schoppe covered the 3-mile course in 16:39.2 and Stowe clocked 17:06.4 for Panguitch, which repeated as champion with a 36-73 victory over Parowan.
