Austin Westfall, a senior at Orem High, won the Class 4A boys title by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 15:00.1 at the Utah High School Activities Association Cross Country Championships at the Regional Athletic Complex in Salt Lake City. Westfall, who took third in Class 5A last season in 15:11.2, helped Orem match rival Mountain View with 56 points, but the Bruins prevailed on a sixth-runner tiebreaker to extend their state record with an 18th boys team crown.
