Desert Hills won its second Class 4A boys title in three years and captured the sixth crown in program history with a 38-58 victory against Snow Canyon at the Utah High School Activities Association cross country state final at the Regional Athletic Complex in Salt Lake City. Kaden McKinlay covered the 5-kilometer course in 15:49.1 to take third, with fellow senior Payton Wilkins finishing fourth in 15:53.8. Christopher Boyer secured sixth in 15:58.5, Luke Ashton placed 11th in 16:03.7 and junior Walter Brinkerhoff grabbed 14th in 16:16.3. Sophomore Logan Boyer was 37th in 17:13.5 and senior Jake Barney earned 53rd in 17:31.4.
